Copper is found in many common electronics.
Copper is one of the uncommon resources in Fallout 76. The resource is used in most electronic devices. This means that you’ll need it for things like generators, turrets, power switches, lights, and some of the more advanced mods in the game. Copper is found throughout the world in Copper veins and deposits and can be harvested directly. Copper can also be found in a lot of different junk devices which can be scrapped.
There are a few different things to know about Copper. First, the copper that you get from junk is different from the cooper you get from a vein or deposit. The raw copper will need to be taken to a chemistry station and smelted into Copper Scraps to use in crafting. Copper that you find in junk will already be in the form of scrap.
These are the items you should keep an eye out for when trying to get Copper.

Workshops that have Copper Deposits include: Billing’s Homestead, Charleston Landfill, Wade Airport, Grafton Steel, Spruce Knob, and Dabney Homestead.
