Fallout 76 is well known by everyone in the gaming community for a lot of reasons. Some of it is positive, a lot of it isn’t that as much. It’s still well known regardless, and it has been a while since we last heard about it. It looks like Bethesda lately has been trying to revive the game in some way or another, and they’re starting that today with the Wastelanders Update coming to Fallout 76. Not only that, but the game is now available for download on Steam. Players who already own the game on Bethesda’s launcher get it completely free. Bethesda took to the official Fallout Twitter account to celebrate today’s update.
Wastelanders brings a long-requested feature to Fallout 76 – NPCs. People have come and populated the area of Appalachia, bringing with them not only quests but the game’s classic dialogue. You can choose what you say to different NPCs, which will affect your standing with them. Overall, these NPCs should bring life to Fallout 76 and give more for the player to partake in and do. Will you side with the raiders and raid various settlements, or will you work with the hopeful settlers to create a bigger and better world? The choice is up to you in Wastelanders.
Along with NPCs, Wastelanders brings two new events and a whole host of bug fixes to Fallout 76. Riding Shotgun has you covering a caravan against a ton of hostile creatures and humans. Radiation Rumble, on the other hand, has you fighting off a massive amount of irradiated creatures as long as you can. Hopefully, you can find some fun in those, along with all the bug fixes and quality-of-life additions coming to the game.
