Crime doesn’t pay.
Being a bad citizen will get you Wanted in Fallout 76. Once you become wanted, you’re going to want to get rid of that Wanted Level very quick because you’ll instantly have a bounty on your head. One way or another, you’re going to have to pay the piper when you commit crimes in Fallout 76.
There is no way to lose your wanted level and get away with any vandalism or violent acts that you’ve committed against the other players of Fallout 76. You’ll have a wanted level on your head until you die.
The best way to get rid of your Wanted Level in Fallout 76 is to avoid becoming wanted in the first place. Here are some things that you can do get you wanted in the first place. Killing another player that does not fight back will get you wanted. Destroying others property in their CAMP or owned Workshop space will get you wanted (if the site is not contested). Stealing things from a person’s camp or Workshop will also get a bounty on you.
Avoiding this stuff and you should be able to steer clear of other players. The more bad stuff that you do, the higher your wanted level will become. The higher your Wanted Level is in Fallout 76 the higher your bounty and the more people will come looking to collect.
You can tell when you are wanted by the icon in the bottom right side of the UI. Do more bad things and this number will rise. Other players can look at the world map and see that same icon to determine the location of the Wanted player. When they find you, you get rid of you Wanted Level quickly.
