Bethesda’s Fallout 76 will have a Day One patch which will update the game to version 1.01. The update is mandatory considering the fact that the games from Bethesda tend to be buggy. So for a better experience, we advise you to download and install the day one patch before starting your game. Coming to the size of the Day One Patch – it is 51.64 GB.

If you have pre-ordered the digital version of Fallout 76 then the total file size that you will have to download is close to 100 GB – base game size is 45.04 GB and then day one patch size is 51.64 GB, the total comes to 96.68 GB. So make sure you have enough HDD space available on your PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Fallout 76 is scheduled to launch worldwide on November 14 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It is Bethesda’s first online multiplayer game. Players will have an option to play the game either individually or can party up with up to three other players. The game will launch with dedicated servers support, and players will be automatically allocated to one of them. Bethesda’s Todd Howard has confirmed plans for private servers support which will be introduced after the game’s launch.
