Ever since the announcement of the Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition fans have wondered what phones will fit inside the device, which lets you act as though you have a real Pip-Boy on your wrist via a smartphone app. Bethesda has finally come forward, listing off a few of the most popular phones that definitely will fit.
The list includes the iPhone 6, iPhone 5/5s, iPhone 4/4S, Samsung Galaxy 5, and Samsung Galaxy 4. Every copy of the Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition will feature foam inserts that can go inside the collectible Pip-Boy that will fit these specific devices.
However, if you have some other smartphone, you don’t have to worry just yet. Apparently the foam inserts should fit most popular models of phones, as long as they are around the same dimensions as the ones mentioned here.
This means the iPhone 6+, Google Nexus 6, and other huge phones are probably out of the question, being too large to even fit within the device itself, let alone the foam inserts. However, other phones like the Mot X might fit well enough to work.
For those that can’t get their phone to fit within the Pip-Boy itself you still have the option to just use the smartphone app, which doesn’t require the hard to find collectible to operate. Otherwise it looks like you’ll be stuck trying to find an older smartphone hanging around the house if you want the full experience.
