A beta patch update has now been released for the PC version of Fallout 4. It is non-final so Bethesda warns players should back up their save data as a result.

Bethesda announced all the changes on Steam. There are several fixes that have been addressed as well as a few new features that have been added in too.

New Features

*Number pad keys can now be used for remapping *Remapping Activate now works on Quick Container

Fixes

*General memory and stability improvements *Fixed issue where equipped weapons become locked after completing Reunions *Fixed issue with When Freedom Calls where the quest would not complete *During Confidence Man, fixed issue where player’s health would continuously regenerate *Fixed crash related to jumping into water and reloading saved games *Fixed issue where Launcher would not save God Rays Quality setting properly

A full PC update patch is still in the works and will be released very soon. This will be followed closely with a new update patch on both PS4 and Xbox One.

Fallout 4 has a few issues that need to be addressed. Since it’s such a huge game, glitches have occurred during numerous parts of the game. Hopefully Bethesda is able to fix all of the major known issues before the end of the year.
