Given the battle royale trend in gaming over the past few years, developers have been working hard to give their spin on the genre. Most have created new versions of the FPS portion, but few have attempted to branch away from that. Fall Guys is the latest to step out of the normal, and recently has been a hit among fans for its uniqueness and colorful madness. Today, Devolver Digital and Mediatonic showed off a new trailer for the game. To go with the video, they announced that beta signups are now available for all players!
As shown off in the trailer, Fall Guys has a lot of wacky but interesting modes to play. One has you moving across platforms moving side to side, flinging people off left and right. Others have you find the correct door to pass, and some have you playing a weird form of tag. No match will ever be the same, as battle royales really should be. Not only that, but every fall guy can be dressed up with unique clothing. You can be a dinosaur, a pirate, or even a literal pineapple. If you can think of an outfit, it’s likely there.
Overall, Fall Guys promise to impress you with its silliness and cool mini-games. Will you be the last person standing?
