Fall Guys took the world by storm at the start of August with its casual twist on the battle royale formula. It gives a unique take on the formula, focusing more on Mario Party mini-games than who can shoot the best. It’s endless fun, and I’ve admittedly dropped more hours into the game than I’m willing to admit. We’ve been eagerly waiting for the arrival of Season 2 though, and that wait is finally over. Fall Guys Season 2 is now available, giving a myriad of new levels, features, and costumes to enjoy. You can get a taste of that new content with the Season 2 launch trailer below.

Fall Guys Season 2 brings along four new levels to race and battle across. A few of these are new, including a new Gauntlet (race) level and a climbing venture. There are also two new variations on classic modes, including new Hoopsie Daisy and Egg Scramble levels based around a medieval theme. That may not seem exciting, but variations on classics are never something to complain about. More are promised to be on the way, so expect to see fresh adventures as we progress through Season 2.

It wouldn’t be a new season without costumes though, and Fall Guys Season 2 is chocked full of them. The trailer above teases viking, dwarf, dragon, witch, wizard, and knight costumes for you to get your hands on. While it isn’t shown in the trailer, there’s also a legendary costume in the shop for those liking the royalty side of things. Outside of costumes though, there’s a whole host of gameplay changes. You have smaller additions like seeing your friends when queuing and nameplates to show off your style. There are bigger additions though like more crowns in the battle pass and new Fall Guys modes to queue into. There’ll be a rotating mode alongside the standard one, with this week’s being a Gauntlet only mode.

There’s a lot to love, with some not even mentioned here. Hop into Fall Guys and be sure to let me know what you think of all the additions. For now though, stay tuned at The Nerd Stash for all your news, reviews, and more!
