I love Fall Guys. You may love Fall Guys too. Either way, it turns out that a lot more people love it than maybe some were expecting.
The latest sales for the game on Steam have topped over 2 million since it released, according to a tweet published by Devolver Digital, the company responsible for publishing the game.
The incredible team @Mediatonic and the super chill @FallGuysGame community have put up some wild numbers in just one week!
Big thanks to all for all the great jellybean vibes. pic.twitter.com/6nW9vp6qeS

“The incredible team at Mediatonic and the super chill Fall Guys community have put up some wild numbers in just one week,” the tweet reads. “Big thanks to all for all the great jellybean vibes.”
The numbers also associated with Fall Guys make for good reading too. 23 million watch hours on Twitch isn’t something to be sniffed at – in fact, it’s the number three most-watched game on the platform at the time of writing, above streaming juggernauts such as League of Legends and Fortnite. Not too bad at all. The numbers on Steam look pretty good too, with an estimated 142 thousand concurrent player count at the time of writing. There doesn’t seem to be a similar comparison available for PS4 numbers, but considering the number of people who have already picked up the game, it’s safe to say there’s a fair bit of life to Fall Guys yet.
In addition, over 60 million cute little bean guys have plummeted to their death (I reckon it’s mainly on the see-saw one if I’m honest, that’s a nightmare), while over 1.5 million crowns have been grabbed. That’s a lot of dubs.
According to unofficial figures however, a further 10 million managed to snag the game while it is free on PlayStation Plus this month, making Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout one of the standout hits of the year. And why wouldn’t it be? We reviewed this lovable little gem here on the site. Spoilers: it’s pretty great.
The other game part of PS Plus this month is Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered (phew, what a mouthful). In a month where that gets dropped for free, it’s barely comprehensible that it could be outshone, but here we are. Congrats, Fall Guys.
Update: A new patch has just released, which adds a new level to the mix. Fans of the Sweeper from Wipeout might want to read this.
