F1 2021 has today deployed update 1.18 across all platforms, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch. Today’s update, I should warn, is quite small and merely tackles two quick bugs that were plaguing the game since update 1.17. We’re at that point now in the development cycle of F1 2021 where any bug fix exclusive updates are going to be fairly small, and this is proof of that. While that’s a shame, you can always get excited about upcoming content updates which bring actual content to the game. Either way, without further adieu, here’s everything new with F1 2021 in its 1.18 update!

F1 2021 Update 1.18 Patch Notes

  • DJMaRiiO suit now appears correctly
  • Fixed various issues with other customisation items

As said, there really isn’t much here to look over. Apparently, since the previous update, the DJMaRiiO suit hasn’t been appearing as it should, and now its been fixed. Other customization items have also been corrected in various places, but clearly judging by the message that’s too many to list off here. Plus, they’re likely so small that a very small portion of the player base noticed it. Still, it needed to be fixed and it’s good to see the team continuing to commit to that.

For the otherwise unaware, the update prior to 1.18 for F1 2021 also brought about mostly bug fixes in various areas, but also brought in the Red Bull white livery option. It also brought about some fixes to AI which are quite nice, given they can mean everything to a large portion of the players. If you’d like more information, or simply want to reminisce about how crazy of a bug fix update that was, feel free to check out our post on it here.

F1 2021 and update 1.18 are available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. For more information regarding this update, check out the official forums.
