Codemasters, the developers behind F1 2020, has announced a special DLC available today. The Keep Fighting Foundation DLC is in honor of Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher. The proceeds for each DLC will go towards the Keep Fighting Foundation, which works to keep the energy and motivation Schumacher brought to Formula 1 to all aspects of life. Players can purchase the DLC now on PC and on PS4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia tomorrow.
The DLC contains a car livery, driver emote, helmet, gloves, suit, and badge. The car livery is in a red and white color style, with the Keep Fighting logo.

In addition to the special DLC, Codemasters also dedicated the deluxe edition of F1 2020 to Schumacher. “It was an honor for the studio to focus on Michael’s record-breaking F1 career for the F1 2020 Deluxe Schumacher Edition,” said F1 Franchise Game Director at Codemasters, Lee Mather. “We are equally proud to support the Keep Fighting Foundation. Many of our players regard Michael as the greatest of all time, and we know the exclusive items will prove incredibly popular.”
The Schumacher edition of F1 2020 features four bonus cars to race with, and extra car liveries to change up your look in multiplayer races. The Schumacher edition DLC is also available to purchase separately.
Michael Schumacher is considered by many to be one of the greatest Formula 1 drivers. He has the record of the most World Championships and the most Grand Prix race wins. He would retire from racing in Formula 1 in 2006 and suffered a head injury from a skiing accident that he is still in treatment for.
This is not the only Formula 1 news to happen this week in the world of gaming. F1 2018 was available for free this weekend on Humble to go with the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix. To learn more about F1 2020 and the Keep Fighting Foundation, click here.
