Ezra Miller has pleaded not guilty to burglary charges in Vermont this morning. They appeared virtually for a session at the Green Mountain State’s Superior Court. They were told to keep a distance from Isaac Winokur, the person that The Flash star entered the home of earlier this year. The same applied to Aiden Early as a condition of their release.
If found guilty, the burglary charges could mean serious time for Ezra Miller. If that happens, they could be sentenced to a maximum of 26 years in prison with over $2,000 in fines. This all came from the spring of this year when they were claimed to have broken into Winokur’s home and stolen three bottles of alcohol. Police had statements and surveillance footage to have probable cause for the charges.
The proceedings are to be determined. They will have to return to court in person or virtually by orders of Judge Kerry A. McDonald.

Over the last two years, multiple accounts on top of the burglary charges toward Ezra Miller have shown a streak of crimes. Videos have shown them physically attacking people, like an altercation at a bar with a woman in 2020. Parents have come forward about grooming and other allegations toward children.
Everything that has happened has put into question what Warner Bros. will do as the star leads The Flash, which is meant to release next year. The blockbuster was set as an important part of the studio’s plans to revamp the DCEU. Conversations have gone from the scrapping of the film to recasting, but the studio has stayed firm on its release. TheWrap reported that they even came back for pickup shots on the film, signaling that nothing will change despite the legal problems surrounding the actor.
