The Tekken Crash tournament went underway earlier this week in South Korea. It showed extensive gameplay footage of Tekken 7.

This is the first professional Tekken 7 tournament to be held. ESports TV covered all of the action as gamers played the game on the arcade cabinets. This is a preview for things to come when Tekken 7 arrives in North America at EVO 2015.

The only downside to the video is that the audio is all in Korean. This isn’t really a bad thing though, as the gameplay is what counts in the end.

Several of the players chose to be a variety of Tekken 7 characters. This includes some of the new characters such as Katarina and more. Most of the players stuck to the characters they know like Kazuya, Lili and Paul.

The Tekken 7 videos are in 720p and 1080p. Sadly, ESports TV only uploaded the videos with the normal framerate. The actual game is 1080p and 60fps.

Tekken 7 is being released in Japanese arcades in February and March. It’s likely the arcade cabinets will be making their way to other countries later this year. Bandai Namco has only confirmed they’re bringing the arcade cabinets to special events overseas for now.
