The final State of Play of 2019 will take place on Dec. 10 at 6:00am Pacific / 9:00am Eastern Time. It will last twenty minutes, and Sony has promised new game reveals, release date announcements, new gameplay footage, updates on PlayStation Worldwide Studios, and more.

State of Play will be live on Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook. If you have been eager for news on the PlayStation 5, you will need to keep waiting, as Sony has specified that the show will not include any such details or information.

There could be some good news coming, however, if a recent addition to the PlayStation Network is any indicator. Resident Evil 3 artwork was added to the PSN this week, so we might just be getting some details on the rumored remake. The timing would line up well with other rumors that we would get to see the announcement for the game before the upcoming Game Awards.

Another game that might make an appearance is Ghost of Tsushima from developers Sucker Punch Productions. Sucker Punch is well known for the Sly Cooper and Infamous series, and Ghosts of Tsushima will be their first title since release Infamous First Light in 2014. The only thing currently known about the game’s release date is that it is planned to release on PlayStation 4, so it will arrive at some point before the next-generation.

It would appear that Sony plan on finishing the current console cycle on a strong note, with both The Last of Us 2 and Ghost of Tsushima still to join their catalog of exclusive games.
