Evolve fans have stuck with the game and seemingly created a very niche community of hardcore players. Turtle Rock Studios have released their patch list for PC’s version 2.1 patch as well as additions the micropatch will have on consoles and PC.
Recently announced on the Evolve website, the 2.1 patch for Evolve on PC and subsequent micropatches are live on console as well as PC. They include a wide range of improvements such as additional security measures, increased randomization, and fixes with badge unlocks and balancing. Check out the full list of fixes below.
2.1 PC Patch
GENERAL
— Implemented additional security measures and fixes
— AI Hunters/Monsters will now randomize more effectively
ASSAULT
—Fix to hit effects not appearing on personal shields
TRAPPER
—The Trappers Dome will now come down after a small amount of time if the Trapper is not in the Dome
BEHEMOTH
—Fixed an issue with Badge unlocks occurring before the goal was met
—Fixed an issue where AI Behemoth Tongue Grab was not grabbing
GOLIATH
—Fixed an issue where players could use another ability while performing a Leap Smash
—Fixed an issue where breakable objects would stop momentum when Goliath collided with them
—Fixed an issue with Rock Throw damage and splash damage being applied more than once
BALANCE
NEST MODE
—Increased Minion Health
DEFEND MODE
—The Monster now starts with Full Armor
—Reduced the damage Kraken’s Lightning Strike can do to Generators
PC & Console Micropatch
TRAVERSAL STAMINA
—Fully recharges 2 seconds slower when in combat
KRAKEN
LIGHTNING STRIKE
—Travels 1.5 meters per second slower
WRAITH
—Fully recharges 2 seconds faster when in combat
STOMACH WEAK SPOT
—Reduced size dramatically
MELEE STAMINA
—Takes longer to recharge heavy hit when not constantly melee attacking. Light hits will be used for a period of four seconds.
—Added a one second delay before traversal stamina begins to recharge after use
—Entering the ball takes 5% more stamina
ROLL
—Reduced Hunter knock back
—Reduced roll damage
—Roll speed is slowed less by stasis effects
ARMOR
—Max armor increased by two bars
—Armor regeneration rate increased slightly
—25% more armor earned per meat
HEALTH
—Stage 2 health increased by 5%
—Stage 3 health increased by 8%
ROCK WALL
—Rock Wall is much less likely to have holes in it when spawned directly under a Hunter.
—Rock wall is initiated 46% sooner
—Level 1 wall width increased by 50%
—Level 2 wall width increased by 25%
—Level 3 wall width increased by 12.5%
FISSURE
—Can now be aimed until the Fissure effects are triggered
TONGUE GRAB
—Reduced diameter of the world collision
—Increased start radius
—Decreased end radius
—Reduced pause by 50% after successful grab
—Sped up tongue latch and pull back animations by 25%
HYDE
TOXIC GRENADE
—Proximity detonation radius increased from 5 to 8 meters radius to help vs a flying target.
TORVALD
AUTOFIRE SHOTGUN
—Damage reduced by 10%
—Reload increased by .25 seconds

—Zeroed out rotation spread modifier when zoomed in

There you have it a wide range of improvements have been made to Evolve on both consoles and PC. Although a slightly heavier focus has been made to the PC version as it received a full patch number update instead of just a ‘micropatch’.
