Bungie has silently released a new version of Destiny 2 ahead of The Witch Queen expansion in an attempt to give players a chance to catch up on the story. The Destiny 2: Legacy Collection includes the Beyond Light expansion, the Shadowkeep expansion, and the Forsaken Pack for $59.99 USD.

Beyond Light is Destiny 2’s most recent expansion, and while the story is pretty decent, the real benefit comes from acquiring the Stasis subclass. Shadowkeep, Destiny 2’s year three expansion, introduced the Darkness, an ancient foe of the Traveler. Finally, the Forsaken Pack gives players three instantly unlockable exotic weapons from the Forsaken expansion and access to the Shattered Throne Dungeon and Last Wish Raid, located in the Dreaming City.

Destiny 2’s year two expansion is called Forsaken, and this expansion will be removed from the game to make room for The Witch Queen. This was a fantastic expansion, from the story and new locations to the exotic weapons. Bungie has made the Forsaken expansion free for all players due to its impending removal.

This being one of Destiny 2’s best expansions, we highly recommend you play this expansion before Feb. 22, 2022. Those that are concerned they will lose content they just paid for in this collection need not worry, as Bungie will not remove the Dreaming City piece of this expansion from the game, so players will still have access to everything included in the Forsaken Pack.

That’s everything included in the Destiny 2: Legacy Collection. Anyone thinking about getting into Destiny 2 will find that this version will give them the most bang for their buck, as you will save $15 when purchasing this collection compared to buying the expansions separately.
