Today (March 8), Nintendo held their latest Nintendo Direct and dumped a ton of information about upcoming Switch and 3DS games. In case you don’t feel like sitting through the entire 34-minute presentation, here are the main points that were addressed in the video.

Nintendo 3DS

This Nintendo Direct started off with some 3DS announcements. This only took about six minutes before all the Switch announcements started coming, but here are the few games that were mentioned for the 3DS.

  • The new WarioWare game WarioWare Gold will launch on August 3.
  • Action tower-defense game Dillon’s Dead-Heat Breakers launches May 24, with a demo on May 10.
  • Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr.’s Journey includes a new story based around Bowser Jr. and is coming in 2019.
  • Detective Pikachu launches on March 23 alongside a large Detective Pikachu amiibo.
  • A remake of Luigi’s Mansion for 3DS is coming sometime this year.

Nintendo Switch

Here’s the meat of this Nintendo Direct. This section took up about thirty minutes of the presentation, and boy, was there a lot announced, so let’s get into it.

  • Kirby Star Allies launches March 16, will include Dream Friends, such as King Dedede, Meta Knight and Bandana Waddle Dee, and will periodically receive free updates that include more Dream Friends. The first update is scheduled for March 28.
  • An HD version of Okami is coming to the Switch this summer.
  • Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido will launch on the Switch, alongside the 3DS version, on June 8.
  • Octopath Traveler will be released on July 13 and will have a Special Edition available at launch.
  • New gameplay footage shown for Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, which launches on the Switch sometime this year.
  • Solaire of Astora amiibo launches alongside Dark Souls: Remastered on May 25, with a network test for the game taking place before its release.
  • A ton of information about Mario Tennis Aces, including characters, mechanics and its June 22 release date, was given.
  • Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is coming to the Switch on July 13 and will include new levels, such as New Donk City. There will also be a 3DS version of the game.
  • Undertale is getting a Switch port… eventually.
  • Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is coming to the Switch on July 10.
  • Indie puzzle platformer Little Nightmares is getting a Complete Edition, which will include all past DLC, and will come to the Switch on May 18.
  • South Park: The Fractured But Whole is coming to the Switch on April 24.
  • Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition gets the release date of May 18.
  • Competitive ARMS players can compete in the U.S. & Canada Online Open from March 8-18, with eight players moving on to the finals on March 31.
  • ARMS and Splatoon/Splatoon 2 presentations will take place at this year’s Game Developers Conference on March 21.
  • Splatoon 2 will be receiving a Ver. 3.0 update and a new single-player paid DLC this year.
  • A new Super Smash Bros. game is coming to the Switch sometime this year and the Inklings will be playable characters.
