The Pokémon Company’s annual Pokémon Presents presentation gave us no shortage of exciting developments to look forward to. Most notably, early footage showcases Generation IX, updates to Pokémon Legend: Arceus and Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, as well as details about Pokémon Cafe Remix, Pokémon Masters EX, and Pokémon GO Alola.

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet

This new generation of mainline games seems to be similar to the Pokémon Legends: Arceus as far as visuals go. Three brand-new Pokémon starters—Spirgatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly—were also introduced to whet trainers’ appetites until release later in 2022.
