Seedot’s Community Day event will happen on May 23 in Pokémon Go. During this time, not only will you have the chance to capture a ridiculous amount of Seedot, and eventually evolve it into a Shiftry that knows bullet seed, but there’s a special research event happening at the same time called Seeing Double. To participate in the event, you need to buy an exclusive Pokémon Go ticket, and it’s available for $1.

To buy the ticket, open up your Pokémon Go application and hit the PokéBall icon in the middle of your screen, and then proceed to the store. Scroll down to look for the section called Event Ticket, and click the Learn More icon. You will have the option to purchase the Seeing Double ticket. You cannot use Poké Coins. You can only use real-world currency. When you buy the ticket, you will gain access to the exclusive research story event, which takes place on May 24 from 11:00am to 5:00pm in your local area.

By completing this event and following the required steps of the exclusive story, you will receive three incense, five Golden Razz Berries, and additional rewards, which will all be available on this day. You can miss out on this event, so make sure to purchase it only if you plan to participate in Seedot’s Community Day in Pokémon Go. Because this is a Stay at Home edition of the event, it’s likely the tasks in the Seeing Double research story can all be completed from the comfort of your home, and you won’t have to leave your residence.

You will need to purchase the Seeing Double research ticket from the in-game Pokémon Go. You cannot purchase it from Niantic’s Pokémon Go blog page. You can expect to encounter an army of Seedot spawns throughout the six hours of the event. Unfortunately, if you do not evolve a Seedot caught on this day to a Shiftry during the event, or two-hours after it happens, it will not learn the exclusive event move, Seed Bullet.
