Everyday: Today’s Menu for the Emiya Family is about to finish cooking this April 28, 2021. In an update from Aniplex, the cooking game based on the Fate/Stay Night anime and manga will finally see the light of day on Nintendo Switch. You can now cook your favorite Japanese food with Saber and your favorite characters.
Everyday: Today’s Menu for the Emiya Family was first announced on New Year’s Eve 2019, with an initial release date of Spring 2020. But, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Aniplex announced its delay in May 2020. Despite its best intentions to release the game by 2020, it was eventually postponed until November 2020. And we still did not see the light of day in the last date adjustment.
This time, Aniplex and the team are making sure that Today’s Menu for the Emiya Family is now coming to Switch. According to the official announcement on their website, the game’s release is now April 28, 2021. It is available as a download-only software with a 5,280 Yen price tag or around 55 USD. What about a North American release? There is no additional information aside from the Japanese launch date. The good news is that the game will reach US soil and will have English language support. If you are familiar with the Today’s Menu for Emiya Family anime, the game is an adaptation of that. You have an array of original recipes from the manga and anime, plus new ones related to content. Enjoy recreating the dishes based on a specific order or press of a button. If you are a fan of the show, you will most likely have an idea of your incoming tasks.
Today’s Menu for the Emiya Family on Switch will have eight mini-games. It will focus on cooking tasks such as cutting, chopping, and frying. It will also support both button and Joy-Con controls. Daily tasks are also available in the game, and gives you reward points that you can use to unlock new costumes and pictures.
