The year 2020 is shaping up to be a great one for the Pokémon franchise. With the release of Pokémon Sword and Shield last year, fans of the trading card game are looking forward to the release of new products to complement the new Switch game.

Here are some products that collectors of the trading card game can look forward to in 2020.

Galar Partners Tin – Feb. 27

With the introduction of the Galar region came three new starters for players new and old to begin building their teams. Players can now add the final evolutions of these starters to their card collection in the form of Pokémon V foils. The featured cards for these tins are Rillaboom V, Cinderace V, and Inteleon V. Each starter will have its own unique tin with a selection of five booster packs. Each tin will also come with one of the three foil Pokémon and a card with a promo code for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online.

Toxtricity V Box – Feb. 27

Modeled after the popular electric/poison type Pokémon, the Toxtrcity box features a foil promo card of Toxtricity V. The box will include an oversized foil of Toxtricity V to put on display (or just leave on a shelf in your closet because you keep forgetting to get a frame while you are out, but enough about us). The box will have four booster packs and a promo code card for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online.

Sword & Shield Collector Chest – April 3

The Collector Chest will feature a number of Galar themed items. It will have five booster packs, four sticker sheets, a Zacian and Zamazenta notepad, and three foil promo cards for each of the Galar region starters: Sobble, Scorbunny, and Grookey. For coin collectors, there will be a coin featuring each of the Galar region starter Pokémon. There will also be a small portfolio for storing cards and a code card for the online TCG.

TAG TEAM Powers Collection – March 27

This release was announced last year and is quickly approaching. This will be the last product for the Sun and Moon series. This collection will feature Espeon and Deoxys-GX, Umbreon and Darkrai-GX, Eevee-GX, Carracosta-GX, Leafeon, and Glaceon. There will be two editions of the collection that will have jumbo cards of either Espeon and Deoxys-GX or Umbreon and Darkrai-GX.
