Ever Given now has its own video game. That’s right, the ship that got stuck in the Suez Canal. While many may be unaware of the event, it was all over the world news. Whatever is a sailing game that puts you at the helm of your own ship.

Ever Given Video Game Features

It was probably one of the most interesting occurrences in recent history. But no one expected the Ever Given to get its own video game. Based loosely on the news, it is a creation from the mind of Napas “Jet” Torteeka. And the last time he made a video game was more than a decade ago. It was thanks to a news report in March that the idea came to him.

Here are some of the Whatever sailing game features:

  • A Simple Objective – Your goal is relatively simple. Drift through the canal as you attempt to avoid getting stuck. And deliver your cargo on time.
  • Challenging Obstacles – It’s not just about sailing here. In this title, you’ll have plenty of obstacles. You’ll have to deal with an annoying Kaiju, fight the current of a whirlpool, and be surprised by a UFO. Sail through all of this in the Ever Given video game.
  • Multiple Levels – There are nine levels to beat, and you’ll be able to take on two bosses while you sail.
  • Controller Support – If the mouse and keyboard aren’t your thing, the game offers full controller support. So it won’t be too hard to control your cargo vessel.

If you’re interested, you can wishlist the title on Steam. There isn’t a clear date of release for the game. “Once the ship is ready” is the cryptic answer to when it will come out. So be sure to keep an eye on the page so you can have yourself a few laughs.
