Prior to Eva Longoria’s display of her incredible shape with her son, she landed a new role in Land of Women, a new Apple T+ series. The dramedy series is based on Sandra Barneda’s best-selling novel of the same name. She will star in the series alongside Carmen Maura. The six-episode series will have Longoria act as Gala.
Per Variety, Gala is a New York empty nester whose husband made things worse after implicating the family in a deal-gone-wrong. She has no other choice but to flee the city with Maura, her mother, and her daughter.
They had to hide from her husband’s assailants in a wine town in Northern Spain. Apparently, her mother fled the same town 50 years ago and vowed never to return. Now, they have to keep their identity lowkey to avoid being caught. The interesting series will be available to viewers in both English and Spanish.
