We previously covered the upcoming expansion for the popular grand strategy game Europa Universalis IV, El Dorado.
Paradox Interactive has now announced a release date of February 26th for the El Dorado expansion. To coincide with their announcement, they have released some new screenshots of what you can expect, one of which you can see below.
The El Dorado expansion for Europa Universalis IV plans to add quite a few new features such as the ability to create a brand new nation as well as deepening the gameplay of the Aztec, Mesoamerican and Incan nations.
There will be new systems implemented in order to help automate exploration as well as having treasure fleets to ship your riches from the new world back to the old, which you will need to protect lest you wish for your gold to get raided and taken by somebody else.
Of course, just like most expansions for Paradox Interactive games, you can expect many tweaks and smaller improvements of your overall Europa Universalis IV game experience even if you don’t get the expansion.
The Europa Universalis IV El Dorado expansion is set to release on the 26th of February for PCs. You can read more about it right here.
