Star Trek: Bridge Crew is out next year and it will give fans the feeling that they are piloting the Enterprise. The ESRB has now rated the VR video game.

Star Trek: Bridge Crew has been rated E for everyone over the age of 10. It only has “Fantasy Violence”, so it’s a game that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.

The rating summary says: “This is a VR strategy simulation game in which players assume the role of an officer aboard the Starship Enterprise. From a first-person perspective, players manipulate bridge controls, complete various missions, and battle other ships in space. Battles depict the exchange of phaser/torpedo fire; when the Enterprise takes damage, officers stumble and cry out briefly. Some hits result in officers being electrocuted or knocked unconscious. Enemy ships explode when defeated.”

Star Trek: Bridge Crew is exclusive to VR which means it’s only available for PS4 and PC. It can be played on the PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. It currently has a release date of March 14th, 2017. It’s the closest thing you can get to actually flying the Enterprise and exploring deep space.
