Of the many quests in Escape from Tarkov, lies the You’ve Got Mail quest, which we will be covering a guide of in our article. When Battlestate Games released the latest 0.13 update for the game, we got the new map, new weapons, upgrade levels for the shooting range, and a new wipe. This means that all of your progress in the game has been wiped, including quest progress. One of the quests you’ll have to eventually do is the You’ve Got Mail quest, which is given by Prapor, or Pavel Yegorovich Romaneko. Escape from Tarkov: How to Complete the You’ve Got Mail Quest

“Come in, come in! I’ve got something for you to do. It’s a personal matter. I sent a letter just before all this mess started in Tarkov. And now I don’t think it’s worth it to stir it all up. Not the time. Would you look in the post office and see if my letter is still there?” 

When you speak with Prapor, he will give you the You’ve Got Mail quest, and you will then be able to locate it under you Tasks and Missions menu. There are two main tasks that you’ll have to complete in order to finish the quest:

  • Obtain the Registered Mail on the Streets of Tarkov
  • Hand Over the Letter

First, you’ll have to queue into the Streets of Tarkov map and look around to find the letter in the post office.

  • Find Pinewood Hotel in the Streets of Tarkov
  • There will be a blue tram in from of the hotel, and an archway on the opposite side of the tram
  • Facing the arch, you should see a building to your right with a blue sign that points to a doorway that has a matching sign
  • Open the door and head inside the building
  • Once you’re inside, head straight until you find a body in a room on your left
  • The letter is in the room with the body, so be sure to look around and check thoroughly
  • Once you’ve collected the letter, you will have finished the first task for the You’ve Got Mail quest in Escape from Tarkov
  • Now, hand the letter over to Prapor and collect the rewards below
