It’s time for some massive battles in beautiful 2D form with NecroBouncer, a new roguelike dungeon crawler from developer Alchemy Sheep. Arriving soon on PC via Steam, players will assume the role of the titular necrobouncer in a nightclub dungeon. Acting as both security and a necromancer, your job is to toss out ridiculous party-goers while collecting various relics. These can both help and hinder you, depending on what you choose to drink at your job. Yup, it’s that kind of party here!
Hacking and Slashing in the Club with the NecroBouncer
In an old-school delivery of vibrant 2D graphics, NecroBouncer places the player right into the indie action. Crowds on top of rowdy crowds will fill the nightclub, leaving you to clean up their mess. Muster up abilities, swing away with your weapons, and dominate the field with your skills. With hundreds of items to use and upgrade, each death promises positive results thanks to the feature where your belongings are transferred onto the next life. It is a roguelike, so you’ll have to familiarize yourself with the procedurally-generated challenges that lay ahead of you.
Today, the official Release Date trailer for NecroBouncer was released, showcasing all of the goods to come. You have continuous intense action, bumpin’ club music, and plenty of unique items and enemies. Be sure to check that out, which we’ve attached above.
In addition to the roguelike gameplay, NecroBouncer is adding some spice to its drink. With Twitch Integration, viewers will be able to gamble in items, enemies, and other “stuff” for the player’s runs. It’s just another way of being a part of the festivities, ultimately creating a party scene for all to enjoy.
NecroBouncer is coming to Steam on December 8, and its developer is Andraž Oražem, the one-man show behind the Alchemy Sheep studio. The publication is being handled by Ravenage Games. Of course, you can wishlist the title to stay up to date, but there’s a free demo that you can check out! It features the game’s first two levels, along with all available relics. This is your time to do some experimenting before the official release.
