EA announced a brand new expansion coming to The Sims this summer and it’s just one of the four seasons that your Sims will be able to enjoy.
This expansion brings four vibrant seasons with holidays, weather, and family activities for your Sim and yourself to experience the dynamically changing weather.
Each season brings its own fun. Build snowmen, make snow angels, or perform cool tricks at the ice-skating rink during winter. In spring, splash around in puddles, explore the wilderness, and earn badges as a scout. Stay cool in the summer with kiddie pools and in the fall, harvest honey, play in the leaves, or make homemade holiday crafts.
The Sims 4 Seasons adds new festive holidays to bring Sims together to celebrate with their friends and family. Get into the holiday spirit with new décor items and count down the days to your Sims’ new heartfelt traditions. Holiday activities include ringing in the New Year with kiss at midnight, going on a romantic date during Love Day, enjoying bountiful feats at the Harvest Fest, and exchanging gifts while receiving a surprise from Father Winter during Winterfest. Players will also be able to create custom holidays and choose how their Sims celebrates their own traditions. Sunday Funday just got a whole lot better in the Sims.
Players will also be able to advance their Sim’s green thumb with a new gardening career. The gardening career activities include crafting beautiful flower arrangements as a floral designer and making delivers around town. For those players or Sims geared more towards science, the botanist career path will allow you to analyze plants, share your research and discovery, and earn special grants. New outfits and objects will be unlocked by blossoming your new talents.
Like with previous expansions, you will need The Sims to unlock these new adventures. The Sims 4 Seasons Expansion Pack will be coming to PC and Mac on June 22 and is available for pre-order for $39.99.
