Dark Horse, a company known mostly for their comics and graphic novels such as Sin City, Mass Effect comics and various comics by My Chemical Romance singer Gerard Way, have taken to publishing books delving into the intricate details of The Legend of Zelda franchise over the past few years, with these books being the official, Nintendo-endorsed guides on all things Zelda. In 2013, Hyrule Historia was released, which introduced the much-contested official timeline of the games, and earlier this year the English version of Art & Artifacts was published.

The third and final book in this Goddess Collection, entitled The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia, was released in Japanese earlier this year and the English version is set to come out on April 24, 2018. The book is 320 pages long and will contain information on items, enemies, languages and much more from 1986’s The Legend of Zelda all the way through 2016’s Twilight Princess HD. The book will also feature an exclusive interview with Eiji Aonuma, who has been the series producer of the franchise since 1998’s classic Ocarina of Time. The cover price of the book is $39.99 and is currently available for pre-order for all you hardcore Zelda fans who want it as soon as it comes out.
