No Más En Masse

The Seattle-based video game publisher En Masse Entertainment announced that they are closing their doors after more than a decade of being in the industry.

En Masse Entertainment, formerly known as Bluehole Interactive Inc., wrote in a Facebook post that they will be ceasing their service. The post, which was shared on the TERA game page, said, “It is with a heavy heart that we begin the process of discontinuing the business of En Masse Entertainment.”

While they are rolling out their termination procedures, En Masse Entertainment will also need to find reliable maintenance for their current games. Players who have enjoyed their adventures with the company’s published titles with TERA and Closers will have news to come forth within the next couple weeks or so. The post details: “Rest assured, support for those titles will continue”.

En Masse Entertainment was founded back in June of 2008 in Seattle, Washington. Their biggest published video game is TERA, which was developed by the team’s parent company Bluehole.  Two years ago, Bluehole and its subsidiary companies were reformed together for better alignment under Krafton Game Union.

En Masse Entertainment leaves behind a small lineup of published works. These titles include Fruit Attacks, Pocket Platoons, Alliance of Valiant Arms, and Kritika Online. The aforementioned TERA (shortened for The Exiled Realm of Arborea) is a free-to-play MMORPG that has garnered over 26 million online fighters ever since its initial 2011 launch. It can be played now and is available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
