Be ready to wield both blade and magic as Empire of Ember quickly approaches its full release launch. Having started as a small project in Steam Early Access, the debut title from developer Poleaxe Games is seeing its final stages. Players can expect to see the title on Steam next month on January 20, 2022, with a special discount to boot.
Assemble Your Men, We’ll Be Outside in the Empire of Ember
Empire of Ember is a first-person action RPG title with strategy elements sprinkling on the top. As an epic Battlemage, you will muster your men in battle by commanding their next movements on the field. Along the way, you must also re-build your town as the new ruler of the land with invading forces on the horizon. But you’re a Battlemage: your powers are no match to the waves of enemies that charge toward your way. The environments are also destructible, so don’t be afraid to let the chaos loose.
The title has been in development for the past four years, with 2021 finally introducing the players to the Early Access experience. Since then, Empire of Ember has seen many updates to content and creation as Poleaxe continues to fill in the gaps for their game. It has received positive reception since its Early Access launch back on March 31, 2021.
Now, players can mark their calendars for January 20, 2022, for Empire of Ember will be fully released at $24.99. It’s also important to keep in mind that the game will launch with a 25% discount. So, if you haven’t tried out the game during its Early Access run, next month will be a good time to start your Battlemage adventures.
