Emily Ratajkowski has opened up about her post-divorce life as a single mom. It’s been two months since Ratajkowski filed for divorce from her spouse, Sebastian Bear-McClard.
Emily Ratajkowski has decided to focus on being a single mom to her 1-year-old son, Sylvester.
On The Today Show with hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager, on Wednesday, Ratajkowski opened up about her life after the divorce.
How Has Life Been For Emily Ratajkowski As A Single Mom?
Ratajkowski, 31, explained that the “independence” she had after divorcing Bear-McClard has been “really nice.” Emily Ratajkowski explained that since the divorce, she doesn’t feel as if she owes anybody or man anything. The only person she is responsible for is her son, Sylvester, whom she shares with Bear-McClard.
Per Dailymail, Ratajkowski explained that she had been a “serial monogamist” most of her life, and she couldn’t get the time to just be herself. The mother of one explained that being a “serial monogamist” was what she thought made her feel safe and protected. She continued by expressing how she just wanted to be loved.
The model very much cherishes this new phase of her life, as she can now do her “own thing.”
What Are Emily Ratajkowski’s New Priorities?
Apart from being a loving single mom to her 1-year-old son, Sylvester, Ratajkowski has planned a new phase in her career.
The model’s launch of her new podcast, High/Low with EmRata which her dating experiences, romance, and sex life are spoken out, is one of her “own things.” Ratajkowski has spoken honestly about sex and the power it gives on her podcast. She explained her various opinions on when and when not to have sex after a date.
Ratajkowski will also be sharing more details on her single life and life as a single mom on her High/Low with EmRata podcast.
Recently, the model was seen in a very intimate position with a man, who was identified as DJ Orazio Rispo. Ratajkowski explained in her podcast that she is not necessarily looking for love at the moment. Although she wants more than sex out of a relationship, she basically just wants to be comfortable.
The model ended her talk on the Today Show with praises for her son and the strength he gives her. She never for once talked about her ex-spouse.
