The supervision may be on for long, as legal papers declare that Elizabeth Holmes, founder of the failed health tech company, must enter a mental health program.
Like many past geniuses, being confined to the four walls of a school limited their potential, the likes of Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates— and Elizabeth Holmes experienced their greatness outside. At age 19, Holmes dropped out of Stanford, to start Theranos, a startup in Silicon Valley that was valued at $9 billion.
But this revolutionary idea that many glorified was nothing more than a facade. Though Theranos founder made it to the list of wealthiest persons, her dubiousness was uncovered. Soon, Elizabeth Holmes’ prison sentence became the only newsworthy report attached to the famed health technology founder.

Elizabeth Holmes Will Start Mental Health Program After Her Prison Sentence
Holmes’ fame was short-lived like every lie, it peeled off layer by layer until the world was exposed to the truth. The Stanford dropout was charged with massive fraud, and the company ceased operation. Last year, she was convicted of three counts of wire fraud and one count of conspiracy to wire fraud.
Court processions before Elizabeth Holmes’ prison sentence did not include a guilty verdict on four other counts since the jury failed to reach a unanimous vote. After three attempts for a new trial, which were eventually denied, the court sentenced her to eleven years behind bars and three years of supervision.
The fallen CEO will begin her prison sentence on April 27, 2023. But new documents obtained by TMZ shared that her supervision will continue after the sentence. Elizabeth Holmes’ mental program will be supervised by her probation officer. Also, she will be paying for the services.
According to the document, the Washington native must cooperate with her probation officer, submitting herself, personal belongings, home and office for search if need be.
