The hit Showtime drama series Yellowjackets has added Elijah Wood to the Season 2 cast. Wood will play a citizen detective named Walter. His character will be a challenge for Christina Ricci’s character Misty. Overall, Showtime has remained tight-lipped on further details of his role in the drama series. Lauren Ambrose and Simone Kessell were also announced as new cast members for the next season. Elijah Wood will now add to the drama for Season 2 of Yellowjackets. He previously starred in the film No Man of God, which he also produced. He played the main role in the comedy series Wilfred and Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency. Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson created the series Yellowjackets. It has become one of Showtime’s most popular drama series and has been nominated for seven Emmy Awards. Entertainment One produces the series, and production will start later this month in Vancouver.

Elijah Wood Will Be on Television Once More

His role as Frodo Baggins in the Lord of the Rings films brought him global recognition. Elijah Wood also starred in Deep Impact, The Faculty, and Sin City. He is one of the few actors that transitioned from being a child actor to an adult actor well. He’ll now return to television with his role as Walter in Season 2 of the Showtime drama series Yellowjackets. The actor has had many roles in different genres, so this latest casting is not a stretch for him. The characters of Season 1 experienced a lot of chaos when they were stranded, and that chaos spilled over into their adult lives. Since Wood’s character is supposed to interact with Misty, one of the mercurial characters of the series. Season 2 of Yellowjackets should be even more intense with the addition of Elijah Wood.
