A ninety second teaser for The Elder Scrolls: Legends was shown off during Bethesda’s E3 presentation. The game will be a free-to-play strategy card game that is available on both iOS and PC, with a release slated for later this year.

Spokesman Pete Hines introduced the game by first glancing up from his tablet, where he appeared immersed in a game — a moment familiar to Hearthstone players, relatives, and friends. The short teaser’s prevalence of heroes and wide focus gives it very obvious parallels to another popular strategy card game, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. With their similarities, could Elder Scrolls: Legends reach the same wide audience as Hearthstone? More information will be released for it in the coming weeks and months, so we’ll have a more definite answer to that speculation when it does.
