There is a vast selection of weapons in Elden Ring, giving the game many different possibilities for play styles and builds. One of these weapons is the Moonveil Kitana, a long curved sword that requires a little strength and dexterity and a decent amount of intelligence to wield. Like its fellow katanas, The Moonveil can build up bleed while attacking but also provides a sizable amount of magic damage all with it. A dependable and valuable weapon, players who want to have a little spellcasting with their katanas will want to get their hands on it. This guide will tell you where to find the Moonveil Katana in Elden Ring.

Where To Find The Moonveil Katana In Elden Ring

To get your hands on the Moonveil Katana, you are going to need to head to the scarlet-laden lands of Caelid to find this weapon, as it is a reward for completing one of the area’s optional dungeons. The Dungeon in question is Gael Tunnel, which is found close to the border between Caelid and Limgrave. The tunnel is home to a combination of stone miners and knight enemies for you to battle against, as well as a healthy amount of Smithing Stones for you to use to upgrade your weapons. Make your way through the tunnel until you reach a pair of big wooden doors; this is where you will find the boss of the zone and the Moonveil Katana.

Elden Ring: How to Remove the HP Down Debuff

The boss fight for Gael Tunnel is the Magma Wyrm, a giant lava-spewing stone lizard. As his name would suggest, he has a lot of fire-based attacks that can quickly melt away a player’s health bar. Be smart and stick to his back legs and keep an eye out for his attacks and you should be able to take him down. Upon death, the Wyrm will drop a Dragon’s Heart as well as the Moonveil Kitana.

Elden Ring is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
