One of my personal favorite runes from Bloodborne was the Blood Rapture rune. This item provided the passive buff that whenever you would get a critical strike from a parry or backstab, you would regain some life. This ability returns in FromSoftware’s new title, Elden Ring, this time being a talisman called the Assassin’s Crimson Dagger. With a world as big as the Lands Between, it is very easy to miss this item. So allow me to help you find this very useful talisman. This guide will tell you where to find the Assassin’s Crimson Dagger Talisman in Elden Ring.

Where To Find The Assassin’s Crimson Dagger In Elden Ring

The Assassin’s Crimson Dagger is the reward for defeating the Black Knife Assassin found in the Deathtouched Catacombs. You can find this catacomb in Stormhill, past the gate next to Gatefront Ruins. Once past the gate and reach the nearby Site of Grace, follow the path heading northeast until you reach the location pictured below. You will find the door leading to the catacomb built into a cliffside with a ghost next to it. Once you enter the catacomb, you will need to find the lever that unlocks the boss room door, where you will find the Crimson Dagger. With the area being pretty early in the game, it is a straightforward dungeon that players shouldn’t have too much trouble traversing.

Elden Ring: Where to find the Patches Boss Fight

Once you enter the boss arena, you will come up against the Black Knife Assassin. This boss will have some of their health already gone, so it shouldn’t be too much of a problem. He has fast strikes but low HP, so just pick your spots wisely, and you shouldn’t have a problem. Once defeated, you will get the Assassin’s Crimson Dagger.

Elden Ring is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
