From items to weapons and armor, there are many things that players can collect across the world of Elden Ring. One of these armor sets that were obtainable was known as the Ragged Armor Set. This armor consisted of Ragged Hat, Ragged Armor, Ragged Gloves, and Ragged Loincloth was seen as a relatively decent set of gear with considerably high immunity given its lower weight. Players who wore the armor or had it in their inventory might have noticed that they no longer have it. Well, allow me to explain what happened. What Happened to the Ragged Armor Set In Elden Ring?
On March 16, FromSoftware released Patch 1.03, including bug fixes, balancing to certain weapons, new NPCs, and updated quests. This update is also the source of the disappearing Ragged Armor Set. buried in the patch notes, it says that the update “deleted the Ragged armor set from the game which was mistakenly obtainable in the previous patch.” This lets us know that the armor set was never meant to be obtainable and that it was a mistake from a previous update that allowed players to get their Tarnished hands on the Ragged Armor Set. It does not, however, provide a clear explanation for the reason it is not obtainable outside of simply not being meant to be.

While the Ragged Armor Set has currently been removed, it is currently unknown if FromSoftware has plans to reintroduce the gear at a later date.
