Elden Ring has today launched update 1.04.1 on all platforms, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch. It should be noted that as the version number implies, today’s update isn’t anything to write home about. Rather than including sprawling changes to the game’s key systems or new characters and things of the like, From Software has opted to focus on a handful of bug fixes instead. This isn’t worth complaining over though, as the game is still quite large and offers plenty for you to enjoy. Without further adieu, here’s everything new with Elden Ring in its 1.04.1 update!

Elden Ring Update 1.04.1 Patch Notes

Bug Fixes

As you can see, there isn’t too much to go over here. The wording for the Cerulean Hidden Tear changes can be a little confusing, though what can be inferred is that there was a bug causing the tear’s duration to be lowered, though that’s been fixed. There have also been fixes for bugs with Malenia, Blade of Miquella who apparently could be cheesed somewhat easily in multiplayer. Yes, that means you’ll have to take on the difficult fight with nothing but your skills. And finally, a few more bosses have had issues fixed so that they are fights as intended and without bugs to make the fight a joke. That may sound sad, but it’ll be better in the long run.

Elden Ring is available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. For more information regarding this update, check out the official Steam page.
