Throughout Elden Ring, there are plenty of optional dungeons waiting for gamers to discover and explore on their terms. The exploration efforts are often made worthwhile by finding a powerful spell or new weapon to help defeat a demanding upcoming boss. However, just because these dungeons are optional doesn’t make them a walk in the park. For example, one cave called “The Sealed Tunnel” has plenty of fake walls and tricky platforming that makes it hard for most people to find everything on their first try. So for fans looking to reap all the rewards from the dungeon, here is a complete Elden Ring Sealed Tunnel walkthrough.
Elden Ring Sealed Tunnel Guide
Cave Entrance Complete Elden Ring Sealed Tunnel Walkthrough
After discovering the Site of Grace in the entrance, make a right and hit the part of the rock wall that has an indent. A secret passageway will open up. Follow the passage until it leads into a big open room, then take another right and go up the wooden stairs. There will be a Golden Rune 5 on a body behind some wooden rubble.
Next, drop down to the lower floors, and there should be a Smithing Stone 5 on a different body and a Smithing Stone Miner’s Bell Bearing 2 inside a chest. Directly to the left of the chest, roll into the wall to open up another illusionary wall.
Cave Elevator
After coming through the wall, players should find themselves in front of an elevator. Instead of going down, roll onto the rock below that sticks out to the left. By carefully platforming down the rocks, gamers should find another Smithing Stone 5 before landing on the bottom.
Once at the bottom, roll through the part of the rock wall directly in front of the elevator to open the next path. There should be a tight passageway heading down with a Golden Rune 5 right at the bottom. After that’s collected, roll into the end wall to continue into the next portion of the complete Elden Ring Sealed Tunnel walkthrough.
Iron Maiden Fight
Fans should find themselves in a new room with a bridge made of roots going into the next room and some formidable enemies underneath. However, before fighting the enemies, roll to the right into the adjacent room to find a Stonesward Key. Then, jump onto the root right across the entrance to pick up the Gold Pickled Fowl Foot. Now, players are ready to jump to the bottom floor.
On the bottom floor, there are some small enemies mixed in with a powerful mechanical Iron Maiden enemy. Before killing the Iron Maiden, gamers should position themselves in front of the nearby statue and wait for it to use its charging attack. Then, at the last second, roll out of the way, and the Iron Maiden should break the statue and reveal a Smithing Stone 6. After the Iron Maiden is defeated, players can pick up a Furcalling Finger Remedy, a Golden Rune 1, a Rune Arc, and a Somber Smithing Stone 5.
When all are collected, go back up the ladder and across the roots to enter the next part of the Sealed Tunnel walkthrough.
Gravity Traps
Eventually, fans should find themselves in an empty room blocked by two large tree roots. Go down the opening on the floor on the right, but be careful of the pile of rocks. These will emit a soundwave attack that hits players if they get close. After avoiding these, walk to the back of the room behind the root to find a Smithing Stone 5. There should also be a Grace Mimic further into the room.
Then, go up the wooden staircase in the room and run past the three rock traps until fans reach the Old Fang item. Then turn around and head left up the incline to find a Large Glintstone Scrap behind another rock pile.
After that, head into the gap in the wall at the entrance of the wooden staircase. There will be another trap there, so set it off first before opening another secret tunnel on the right-hand side of the wall. There will be more roots growing out of the wall and a bit of light to comfort gamers. Jump down to the root below and grab the Smithing Stone 5 off the side of the wall. Next, jump down to the next root below and grab the Lightning Grease off the body to the side. Finally, jump down to the bottom and pick up the Golden Rune 9 while avoiding the three traps.
Onyx Lord Boss Fight
In the final portion of the complete Elden Ring Sealed Tunnel walkthrough, fans should expect to face off against an Onyx Lord. One of the best times to charge for an attack is when it’s charging the Meteorite attack, which creates a massive projectile in the air. After it’s beaten, he will drop the powerful Onyx Lord’s Greatsword weapon for gamers to use.
Elden Ring is now available for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series|S.
