Mountaintops of the Giants is a late-game region in Elden Ring, and our walkthrough should guide you through this smaller area. Compared to other regions in the game, it’s certainly straightforward. There’s only one major story boss that moves the plot along as well as a handful of NPCs and dungeons.

Mountaintops of the Giants Elden Ring Walkthrough

Before we get into the walkthrough, check out the guide on how to reach the Mountaintops of the Giants first. Once there, you’ll notice that there are two sections: East and West (Consecrated Snowfields). When you get through the east section, you can get to the rest of the region.

It’s all rather straightforward though, but our guide should help make the process even easier. We’ll walk you through some of the regions in Mountaintops of the Giants and list all the dungeons, NPCs, and some of the best loot.

Mountaintops of the Giants – Foot of the Forge

Once you’re in the region, you can unlock a portion of the area quickly. This is because you’ll get the area map once you exit the elevator and start down the mountain trail.

Now that the map is revealed, head to Zamor Ruins Site of Grace. There’s a hill to the left. As you travel up it, you’ll round the edge of the clifftop. There’s a stone bridge and some perfumers guarding it.

After you cross the bridge, keep going to the mountain as you’ll soon encounter the frozen lake. Head northeast, and as you travel up the frozen river, you’ll notice the Golden Seed Tree.

From the edge of the lake, you’ll get another Site of Grace in the Mountaintops of the Giant region in Elden Ring.

After crossing the lake, there’s another Site of Grace inside the First Church of Marika.

If you go along the cliff’s edge, you’ll see a chain bridge and Guardian’s Garrison castle. Don’t forget to get the Giant’s Gravepost Site of Grace.

Now, we just have to move up the hill, and we’ll soon be at the Foot of the Forge Site of Grace.

It’s here that you’ll have to defeat the Fire Giant, a Legend Boss.

Mountaintops of the Giants Elden Ring Walkthrough – Consecrated Snowfields Region

The Consecrated Snowfields Region is known as the second to last region in the game. However, you don’t exactly have to travel her to beat the game. Nevertheless, our Mountaintops of the Giants region walkthrough would be incomplete without it.

It’s not easy to reach this area since it’s hidden. As such, you’ll need two halves of a secret medallion that leads to the Grand Lift of Rold.

The left half is found after you finish with Castle Sol and head beyond the boss arena. Meanwhile, the right half is in Liurnia of the Lakes in the Village of the Albinaurics. An old man has this piece, and you can kill him or not to obtain it.

When you have both pieces, return to the Grand Lift of Rold and select the option with the medallion. It’ll take you to a small dungeon, and once you leave, you’ll be in the Consecrated Snowfields Region.

Mountaintops of the Giants – Dungeons

There are seven minor dungeons found in the Mountaintops of the Giants region. There’s also a hidden Legacy Dungeon located further north of the Consecrated Snowfields.

Check out some information about the dungeons in the table below.

Now that we have the minor dungeons let’s find the Legacy Dungeon. Miquella’s Haligtree sits north of the Consecrated Snowfields. Going through here, you’ll fight Loretta, Knight of the Haligtree. After defeating her, you’ll gain access to Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree, a Legacy Dungeon that acts as the second section of Miquella’s Haligtree.

Mountaintops of the Giants – Field Bosses

In the Mountaintops of the Giants region, there are numerous field bosses, as per usual in Elden Ring. Of course, there are also more than a dozen different regular enemies and creatures lurking about. However, we’ll let you know what field bosses to expect and where to find them. This way, you’ll know more about what to expect if you decide to face these optional bosses.

Mountaintops of the Giants Elden Ring Walkthrough – NPCs
