Elden Ring offers lots of flexibility regarding character builds and stat allocation, yet there may come a time when the Tarnished wishes to respec their class’s stats. Fortunately, a respec feature is available, albeit at a later part in the game. Therefore, players must first progress far enough through the Lands Between to reach the NPC who offers this service. Furthermore, stat respeccing is not free, costing players a rare Key Item found in a limited number of locations. As a result, it is recommended that Tarnished make sure that they choose to respec their stats in Elden Ring when they are entirely sure they wish to do so.
How to Stat Respec Stats in Elden Ring
To respec one’s stats in Elden Ring, players must reach the Raya Lucaria Grand Library, a location within the region of Liurnia. The Tarnished will encounter several bosses along the way, meaning the journey will not be easy. Nevertheless, once players defeat Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon, they can exchange Larval Tears with her to respec their stats.
Elden Ring: Where to Buy Smithing Stones
Larval Tears can be found in multiple spots throughout the Lands Between, but finding them will be challenging. One can be discovered in the graveyard in the Village of the Albinaurics, underneath the plateau south of the Raya Lucaria Grand Library. To get to the village, players must enter through a swampy passageway in the northeast.
A second Larval Tear can be purchased from the Nomadic Merchant in Siofra River for 3,000 Runes, and a third is sold by Pidia, a Carian Servant at Caria Manor. However, the Caria Manor merchant can only be accessed via a particular route from above. Elden Ring fans may also collect several Larval Tears from the loot drops of specific Elite enemies.
