Elden Ring lets you explore every nook and cranny of its world to discover dungeons, NPCs, quests, bosses, and more. One area that you will not want to miss is the peaceful and flower-filled village of the Living Jar people named Jarburg. Everyone in this small village is friendly and non-hostile, and after patch 1.03 of Elden Ring, Jarburg has a new NPC with Jar Bairn or nephew of the great Iron Fist Alexander. Jar Bairn has his own questline tied both to the characters Diallos and Iron Fist Alexander and provides some great interactions and a new friend in this hostile unforgiving world. Jarburg is easily missed as you venture through The Lands Between as it sits tucked away in its own little corner. In this guide, you will learn exactly what you need to know on how to get to Jarburg in Elden Ring.

How To Get To Jarburg In Elden Ring

Jarburg is found relatively early on in the eastern edge Liurnia of the Lakes region of Elden Ring. The easiest direct path to the Living Jar village is from the Artist’s Shack Site of Grace. Head out on the road directly southeast towards the small patch of trees you see ahead. You will run into a Leyndell Knight that you can run around with little issue as you continue forward. Once you reach the small patch of trees close to the side of the Carian Study Hall tower, you will encounter a small bog where, if you have not already beaten the boss, there will be a Tibia Mariner that you may choose to take out or leave alone. No matter what you decide to do, keep going southeast until you reach the edge of the cliff just south of the massive Carian Study Hall tower. You should be just above Jarburg at this point. Look out below the cliffside for some jutting stones that you can use as platforms to descend safely. Use Torrent to hop across the easiest between the cliff stones, but be careful not to overshoot or move too quickly as the fall will be lethal.

Elden Ring: How to Complete Alexander’s Questline

After completing the jumping puzzle, you will be greeted with the pleasant site of Jarburg, your destination. Be sure to touch the Jarburg Site of Grace, take in the sights, and speak with the little jar on the front porch of the house close to the Site of Grace to meet Jar Bairn himself. From this point, you can explore the town and pick the flowers as you please, take a breather and make some jar friends. Welcome to Jarburg!
