There is an arsenal of powerful and unique weaponry found across the Lands Between in Elden Ring. One of the best weapons to get your hands on is the Rivers of Blood Katana. This long crimson-colored blade does a great job at building the bleed ailment while also containing a very useful Art of War skill known as Corpse Piler that makes it an invaluable part of any loadout. This guide will explain where you can find and how to get the Rivers of Blood Katana in Elden Ring.

How to Get the Rivers of Blood Katana In Elden Ring

Players will be able to get the Rivers of Blood Katana by defeating the NPC known as Bloody Finger Okina in the Mountaintops of the Giants. This is the snowy area that you will explore beyond the Capital City Leyndell. Once at this zone, traverse through the area and go to the southeast part of the area until you reach the part of the map pictured below, a landmark known as the Church of Repose. This is the place where you will be able to face off against Okina and get yourself the Rivers of Blood Katana.

Elden Ring: How to Reach the Liurnia Divine Tower

Once you reach the Church of Repose, you will experience an NPC invasion from Bloody Finger Okina, who wields the Rivers of Blood. He is a very dangerous foe with quick strikes and just as fast the ability to build your bleed meter. Pick your moments wisely, and don’t let him overwhelm you, and you should be able to take down the invader. Upon defeating Okina, you will receive the Rivers of Blood and Okina’s Mask. The blood-tinged Katana will require you to have Strength at level 12, Dexterity at level 18, and Arcane at level 20 to use correctly.
