In a game filled with unique weapons, the Magma Blade in Elden Ring has been one that fans have gravitated to, and it’s with good reason. This curved sword packs a massive punch, with a special Weapon Skill that, no pun intended, melts through the health bars of both regular mobs and bosses alike. However, for those who want to channel their inner God of War, it will take some time to get this weapon. This guide will explain where and how to get the Magma Blade in Elden Ring.

How To Get The Magma Blade In Elden Ring

The Magma Blade is a weapon that can be dropped by Man-Serpents who wield the weapon in the Volcano Manor inside Mt. Gelmir. The best place to find these enemies is on the bridge area beyond the Godskin Noble boss fight, which becomes the Church of Eiglay Site of Grace. Make your way out to the balcony above the Church and jump down onto the area outside. Make your way through this area until you reach the Iron Maiden enemy. You can hop through a window and an elevator to the left that provides a shortcut back to this area from the Church Grace. This area at the top of the elevator is the best place to grind for this item as there are two Man-Serpents here that have a chance to drop the Magma Blade. If they both don’t drop the Magma Blade, head back to the Site of Grace, reload the area, and keep farming these two until you get the weapon.

Please note that the drop rate for this weapon is unbelievably low, with some players saying that they had to completely respec their character for higher Arcane to increase their item discovery. Players might want to do this and use the Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot, an item that also increases item discovery. Even with these two things to help with the drop rate, it could still take a long time to actually get your hands on the Magma Blade as you are at the mercy of RNG. Good luck!

Even with its shallow drop rate, the Magma Blade is a great get for players as its Weapon Skill, Magma Shower, sees the player doing a series of spinning slashes that cover the ground in magma. This will do constant damage to any enemies that stand in it and will quickly build stagger for a riposte. The Magma Blade requires level 9 Strength, level 15 Dexterity, and level 16 Faith to wield properly.

Elden Ring is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
