Talismans are equipable items that give you a passive ability or buff to your character in Elden Ring. These items are a significant part of any build since they can increase HP/FP or damage skills. One of these talismans is the Magic Scorpion, which will increase the player’s magic attacks at the cost of lower damage negation. Despite this long and arduous process, players that desire the item need to know which hoops to jump through to get it. This guide will tell you how to get the Magic Scorpion Charm in Elden Ring.

How To Get The Magic Scorpion Charm In Elden Ring

The Scorpion Charm is a reward that players will receive from the NPC Seluvis upon completing their questline. The Nerd Stash already has an in-depth guide on how to complete Seluvis’ quest, linked here, so this will go over the quest in large strokes. You first need to talk to Ranni in her Rise behind the Caria Manor and pledge your service to her. This will allow you to go to Seluvis’ Rise south of Ranni’s tower and help him in his task of creating puppets. He will give you a potion to give to another NPC, Nepheli, although several characters can receive it. Note that whoever you give the potion to (excluding Gideon) will kill them and lock you out of their questline. Return to Seluvis and talk to him. Go to the location picked below and through the illusionary floor to find Seluvis’ puppet dungeon. After reloading the area and talking to Seluvis, this will allow you to purchase puppets from him. To unlock a new dialogue prompt for another puppet, buy one of them and all of the Sorceries he has on offer.

Doing so will see Seluvis entrust in you his plot to turn Ranni into a puppet. He says that he needs an item called Amber Starlight. This item can be found in Altus Plateau near the Altus Highway Junction Site of Grace. Upon returning to Seluvis with the Amber, he will give you the Magic Scorpion Charm. Finishing Seluvis’ quest will lock you out of Ranni’s quest and one of the endings unless you use Celestial Dew at the Church of Vows.
