A regular long sword, a wooden shield, a staff with a Glintstone at the end. These are some pretty normal weapons given the setting of Elden Ring, but what about the unique ones? What about those that you get and just need to throw on to see what they are like? Well, the Jellyfish Shield is one of those weapons. For players that want to get their hands on this squishy defensive option, they will need to head a specific spot found in the Lands Between. This guide will explain to players where and how to get the Jellyfish Shield in Elden Ring.

How To Get The Jellyfish Shield In Elden Ring

The Jellyfish Shield can be found in the open world in the northwestern part of Liurnia, just south of The Four Belfries and north of the Foot of the Four Belfries Site of Grace. From the Grace, follow the forking road to the left. At the location on the map pictured below, you will find a quartet of jellyfish floating around a destroyed carriage with two corpses in the wreckage. On one of these bodies, you will find the Jellyfish Shield.

Elden Ring: How to Get and Use the One-Eyed Shield

The Jellyfish Shield doesn’t have a parry as its Weapon Skill and cannot be infused with Ashes of War due to the fact that it is a unique weapon, but its Skill (known Contagious Fury) does provide players with a good buff of 20% increased damage during the Skill’s 30-second duration. It also has 100% physical damage reduction. Even though the weapon’s description says that it does not block piercing weapons, testing it in the field showed that the weapon still stopped the damage from weapons such as spears. The Jellyfish Shield requires Level 20 Strength and Level 14 Dexterity to wield properly.

Elden Ring is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
