As much as it is important to be a good player in Elden Ring, it is necessary to have the right weapons in order to progress through the vast lands of the game. One of the great weapons in the game is a Reaper known as Halo Scythe that deals with both Holy Damage and Blood Loss. Here is the guide on where to find and how to get the Halo Scythe in Elden Ring.

How to Get the Halo Scythe

Halo Scythe is a great weapon for Faith-hybrid builds that even with a +4, this weapon can deal 349 points in Attack Power in Elden Ring. It is a powerful weapon, especially for PvE situations. The only downside of it is that its halo projectiles do not track the target enemy.

To get the Halo Scythe you must defeat the Cleanrot Knight. You can find him in the dungeon of Stillwater Cave of Liurnia of the lakes. There is also a Cleanrot Knight Boss Duo at the end of the Abandoned Cave in Caelid that you can defeat and then get the Halo Scythe.

As for the regular Cleanrot Knights, they can be found in various locations. They can be found in the Swamp of Aeonia in Caelid, The Shaded Castle of Altus Plateau, the Consecrated Snowfield Catacombs, and Miquella’s Haligtree. It is recommended to head to the Swamp of Aeonia in Caelid first.

The enemies spawned wielding the weapon can be defeated rather easily in comparison to other enemies. Also equipping Scarab Talisman and consuming a Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot does increase the chance of receiving the drop. Although if the enemies didn’t drop the Halo Scythe, go to the Site of Grace nearby, save, and fight the Cleanrot Knights again.

Elden Ring is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
