Elden Ring is filled with many dangerous and devastating enemies, and to defeat them, you must have a mixture of spells, suitable armor, and weapons. Although players must put their focus on building and maxing one type of build, they must try to find the appropriate items for that build. But there are some items and spells that make the game much easier no matter what build you choose. The Eternal Darkness Spell is one of those, and here is the guide on how to get the Eternal Darkness Spell in Elden Ring.
How to Get the Eternal Darkness Spell in Elden Ring
In Elden Ring, you will fight many enemies with sorcery and incantation. Using the Eternal Darkness Spell will shut down every activity related to magic in a small area.
The first step for getting the spell is to unlock the seal of Sellia, Town of Sorcery in Caelid. Players should find and then light three flames after entering the town. After you have collected Sella’s treasure, it is time to head through the hills behind the town.
While crossing the path on the hill, you will encounter skeletons, and the first one wields a glaive. There are also two boulders trying to crush you, so keep them in mind. After passing the skeletons and the boulders, stop at the Church of Plague to start Millicent’s questline.
After that, continue your way towards the gate of Sellia. You will encounter bats and some Winged Demes that help the bats. It is best to simply past them and not engage in a fight. After you have passed the bats, you will find a bridge/gate.

You will have to face a group of invisible Sellia spells words since there is no other way. After you get through them, you will see the watchtower with the spell inside it. But to acquire the spell, you must defeat a Bloodhound Knight. So before embarking on the journey of getting this spell, be prepared.
Elden Ring is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
