An excellent choice for powerful PvP weaponry in Elden Ring is the Eclipse Shotel, a Curved Sword that deals both physical and holy damage. The scythe-shaped blade comes equipped with a unique skill known as Death Flare, which, when activated, will inflict the Death ailment upon landing a successful blow. If Tarnished activate the skill twice, the Eclipse Shotel can be charged and then slammed down, triggering a small explosion in Elden Ring. To get this powerful Curved Sword, adventurers must progress through the Lands Between to reach the Mountaintops of the Giants, the region after the Royal Capital of Leyndell.

Eclipse Shotel Curved Sword Location in Elden Ring

The Eclipse Shotel Curved Sword in Elden Ring is located in the Church of the Eclipse within Castle Sol. This stronghold can be found in the far north of the Mountaintops of the Giants, above the Ancient Snow Valley Ruins. To reach this region’s location, Tarnished must defeat Morgott the Omen King.

Elden Ring: How to Get the Giant Crusher

Morgott is the Demigod Boss of Leyndell, Royal Capital, and must be vanquished to access the Forbidden Lands, the path leading to the Grand Lift of Rold. After beating the Grand Lift’s guardian, Black Blade Kindred, travelers can use the medallion they received from Melina to get to the eastern half of the Mountaintops of the Giants.

Castle Sol sits in a small valley northwest of Freezing Lake. After arriving at the main gate, rush past the two Lion Guardians near the entrance. Go up the wooden platforms to the left and enter the interior of the castle. Head up the stairway and out the ramparts towards the Church of the Eclipse. Run inside and immediately activate the Site of Grace to deactivate any nearby hostiles. After resting or reviving at the Grace, enter the church and loot the corpse leaning against the altar to obtain the Elden Ring Curved Sword, Eclipse Shotel.

Elden Ring is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
